Capacity-building through Master’s programmes

Through our 15 Master’s Programmes, in partnership with esteemed universities across the world, almost 400 individuals from the diplomatic community, academia, and the public and private sectors benefited from our unparalleled expertise in diplomacy and international law, and gained new knowledge and skills to advance their careers.

Climate change diplomacy training in preparation for COP28

Together with the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), we held our second Fellowship Initiative in Climate Diplomacy Training in Accra, Ghana. Fellows from nine CVF Member States were trained with the necessary tools to adeptly advocate for the interests and requirements of their climate-vulnerable nations within the multilateral system, drive ambitious climate action and mobilize international support for climate-threatened nations in preparation for COP28 in Dubai.

Youth and multilateralism

The President of the General Assembly Fellowship Programme promoted youth engagement in multilateralism and supported the next generation of diplomats, particularly from LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS, while ensuring geographical representation and gender balance.

High-level political forum (High-Level Political Forum Hosts Sessions on SDG Learning and Training)

The SDG Learning, Training and Practice sessions were held on 10-14 July 2023 during the High-Level Political Forum. They garnered 5,111 participants and highlighted the platform for governments, academic institutions and other stakeholders to conduct learning and training sessions on sustainable development implementation.
